IF we can social distance at walmart then we can social distance at a football game. Sell seats every 6ft and then if you have a family buying tickets then you let them sit together like you do in church.
We are now less than 3% on the mortality rate of this virus and of the 3% there is no way to tell how many died of something else other than COVID-19 and yet the death certificate was manipulated to say COVID-19.
Watch the games in November, December and Bowl games get the green light for full capacity at games.
I have not been following the Virginia "mandates" so this may not be relevant.
Here in PA for instance the amusement parks are open. We are season pass holders for Hershey Park. The park is less crowded than typical but trust me when I say it is full. Yes, there is a mask requirement. Some wear them properly, some not so much. No masks required in the water park and that is by far the fullest part of the park. Not one instance of contract tracing has come from Hershey park in the time they have been open. Does this prove anything? No.
But, I think we can have limited attendance and be just fine. However, I am not the one being paid to make those decisions.
Schools have been in session in many locations and no apocalypse yet.
I agree with families first. I want to be there this year for many reasons and I hope LU can find a way for more to attend beyond families.
