The safe bet and assumption is obviously the Cure Bowl. From Freeze always hoping for "somewhere warm," to what the Cure Bowl AD has said, Manson reporting that McCaw said we'd honor the Cure Bowl, the bus trip for the students, etc. Everyone except a Democrat could figure it out. That's my guess anyway, and I'm sticking to it.

If we hit a date we can go I love to purchase tickets, set travel and, find accommodations immediately. reason 1 we will not drop 25 to hold a spot. Pretty safe to say tickets will be available. So, if Liberty is planning packages I hope they list them quickly instead of waiting a few days or that opportunity will be missed for LU.

I legit had a dream last night that we got a belk bowl invite. I don’t know if that’s prophetic or pathetic

Selfishly I would prefer that as it’s a doable trip for me.

I've changed my opinion. I want Cincy to beat Memphis, and Boise to be highest rated G5 team. This make Cure bowl off the table for LU pretty much.

After hearing Ian a couple of times, and Alan Gooch. It sounds like Liberty is a very sought after bowl team. First time bowl participant with an excited fan base and a recognizable head coach. Buckshot and AGG playing for draft stock. The money we are committing to take students on a bus trip. Jerry wont let this flop (see big south championship in 2018 @ Radford).

If we are not stuck honoring our commitment to the Cure Bowl, there would be some other great opportunities for us out there. Nashville, Charlotte to name a couple, potentially matched up against a house hold P5 team that we could beat (miami or wake ).

I was all for the Cure bowl because it was a shoe in that we wouldn't be left out (FCS playoff days still haunting me) but now I think we can get a better bowl invite so I am hoping Cure doesn't work out because Ian has said we would honor that either way.

Let me recap, We are going to the Cure Bowl.

So let me ask you. Would you rather beat Arkansas State in the Orlando Cure Bowl, or have a shot at Wake Forest in the Music City Bowl in Nashville ?

The possibility is there where Cincy could move ahead of Boise if they win, which would still put us in the same spot. Doesn't seem likely but the AAC is, without a doubt, the best non P5 conference.

Ballcoach, everybody knows you're an old retired Army guy. When you say "deposit," is that a military term? :dontgetit :usa

with 79 eligible teams and 78 spots. I dont think LU will be left holding the bag. Cure bowl against Arkansas State is about as low as it gets. So "very sought after" is relative. I meant, we wont end up at the bottom of the list , bc of the things I listed.

It's great that Liberty is being projected for several bowls. From what I have read on Internet and from what I have been told by my sources, Cure Bowl is definitely the front runner to extend us an invitation.

I just wish our potential opponent in Cure Bowl was a "bigger name" team than Arkansas State.

I have exactly zero sources and know that the Cure Bowl is our most likely destination. If Memphis wins Saturday, we are invited. No source needed. We have a tie-in.

If my "between the lines" literacy is what I think it is, the $25 deposit is only refundable if we don't go to a bowl at all, which is highly unlikely at this point. They say nothing about a refund if we go to a bowl that you can't make it to because of the date/location/whatever. In those cases it's a donation. Might be able to apply it toward a Flames Club membership.

I have made my deposit.
Yes, to support the program.
I get your idea to support the progrm yet from listening to you, you would not travel via an LU travel package because you want to drive. "everyone should travel via an LU package". <--- get the feel of this?
No, travel dates matter. As a family we are unable to make all dates. Cure Bowl would be a miss for us due to a prior scheduled event.
Complete package matters. If LU is unable to post a travel package by Monday I will go elsewhere if required.
I may purchase tickets via LU for seats behind the team but total costs matter.

If so, the refund aspect should have been in writing immediately.
There is no doubt we will enter the same Flames Club level next year and it would of guaranteed a 25 , well 75 dollar deposit on my part.

-325 is the moneyline on if we go to Orlando. Memphis is a 9.5 favorite. This is 4 points less than last week , when they won by 10.

There is a very good chance we will be going to Orlando.
