She is going the same way with business as the hard left --- people before profit. Again, the socialist model has never and never will work. To earn that cash she is talking about you need investors or shareholders and stakeholders whomwant success. See all major economists that are not socialist minded on this.
Equal opportunity does not equate to equal success rate even among siblings much less an entire population. reality matters with some concepts. All of us here have equal opportunity yet our outcomes vary greatly.

2A --No to reciprocation to carry and many more. NO. Here is why the NRA and 2A defenders should never back down. Look at smoking. First it was go to another part of the establishment. Then just the bar. Then outside. Then ....
That is how we lose essential rights by chipping away.
This is not a good comparison at all. The act of smoking does not only negatively impact you and negatively impacts those around you. There isn't any arguing that fact. I am all for personal liberty but that does not mean you should be allowed to harm someone's health.
it is a perfect example. But, Gun owners have the Constitution despite current efforts to minimize that. it is not about smoking and weapons being equal it is about the tactics used to reduce what we have.
1; deglamorize smoking or guns
2: pressure with lawsuits. There are personal ones noew just wait till states attorneys try it.
3: Reduce marketing
4: give up marketing roles into age restrictions, red flag laws, self defense rounds being illegal (NJ), magazine size (really?), and so on just as smoking was put out of public favor with small "take aways".

Again, It is NOT comparing smoking to weapons as the same. The tactics utilized in increments to take away what we have.
It is a template that is being used now.

Jonathan Carone wrote: October 16th, 2019, 11:41 am I don't think most of them are nearly as militaristic about the tax-exempt thing as Beto is. Most realize the damaging reality of taking that away.

I'm also pretty sure Pete and Beto do not like each other at all.
Oh but they are pretty militaristic against Evangelicals and Fundamentalists and pretty darn close to Beto on tax exempt. I don’t recall anyone really saying that was a bad idea last night.
They miss the fact that a lot of Trumps appeal to Evangelicals Fundamentalists etc is that unlike them he’s not antagonist towards them. Mayor Pete is the only one who remotely tries to pick up a Christian banner but does so only to take shots at Pence and demean Christians who don’t think like he does.
They look at the Secular far left vote as more desirable and plentiful than the “Christian” vote. So that is who they will pander to

I think Pete has been really smart about positioning himself as an alternative for Christians who don't fall into the Moral Majority. He's made himself the civil, moderate option against the hardline right and the way too far progressive left.

The Loud Left has been pushing things extreme left. I wonder if there's a version of the Silent Trump Voter on the left who wants to stay moderate but doesn't want to be called names so they don't publicly talk about supporting some of the more moderate candidates.

Going backwards to the Kurds. It took me some time but I found so decent supporting evidence of my premise.
The Kurds in Syria are not the Kurds that were stranded in Northern Iraq.
These Kurds we allied with are the PKK, YPK, PYD, and so on.
They are terrorists as identified by the US, UN, and European union.
They allied with us for a motive of territory.
We did not abandon friendly hug me allies.

That’s quite the needle you are trying to thread. Mayor Pete has pretty much shamed and condemned the beliefs of Mythical Evangelical Voter. He wants to be the Nations President AND Pastor. Nope

What Trump did was absolutely brilliant. I can think someone is smart and good at what they're doing without agreeing with them or wanting to support them. It's called critical thinking.

HRC still wants to ruin...err run the country. If not as a last minute compromise candidate, then as a vp who steps up when Biden bites the dust. A 3rd party run by any Dem. candidate dooms both senerios.

LU 57 wrote: October 16th, 2019, 11:35 am Ben Shapiro was pretty funny about it. He said he would "walk on broken glass on his knees to vote for Trump" if the Democrats try to take away his ability to educate his kids in a way he sees fit.
And yet many Republicans are trying to handcuff public education by taking tax money away from them to send to non-publicly funded charter schools. It would cripple public education in less affluent areas.

As many on here know, I am not a Trump guy but the news coming in about a successful operation to take out the leader of ISIS should be universally celebrated. Yet it isn't. This is why Trump will win reelection. The media doesn't seem to understand that by continuously putting a negative spin on literally everything makes it all just sound like white noise.

This is why Trump continues to go after them, so they don't stop. I don't like it but it is smart.

Yeah, I’m shocked at the response to the Baghdadi raid. Unbelievable.
However, #WaPodeathnotices is absolutely priceless gold

The picture of the "War Room" has also been pretty great.
Their WWII headline would have been "Hitler, inspiring artist and longtime companion of Eva Braun dies".

So called News Media is a joke.

She is the only Democratic candidate with any common sense. I don't like some of her comments on foreign policy, but she is more attractive than Elizabeth Warren.
