The refs called back 3 returns for TD. For those who saw game on TV, were they good calls.

The ref who threw flag on second one, was on east sideline, with only return man and about 5 Hampton players chasing him, on that side of field. I thought that was a bad call.

It's a full location with 4 points of sale on the student side. Southernmost concession under the grandstand.
So the student side has FOUR wing places, and the Baptist side doesn't have any? Old guys like wings, too. Am I right, Purple?

HF reports that JB's injury is a torn Posterior Cruciate Ligament. A lot depends on the severity, but this is not good news.

"outcomes
good results achieved with primary repair of bony avulsions
primary repair of midsubstance ruptures are typically not successful
results of PCL reconstruction are less successful than with ACL reconstruction and residual posterior laxity often exists
successful reconstruction depends on addressing concomitant ligament injuries
no outcome studies clearly support one reconstruction technique over the other".

Ouch. Hopefully he doesn't need a reconstruction.

Hopefully HF either misspoke, or there was a communication breakdown. Makes a huge difference whether it was actually "torn" or not.

I had a PCL “mid substance rupture” back in the day (along with a torn MCL)

Never really repaired well

Still unstable 30 yrs later

EDIT: glad it’s not that

Looks like rehab from reconstructive surgery on this is normally about 6 months, so there is a chance JB could participate in Spring drills (although I expect they will be cautious.)

I am not a Doctor, nor a Trainer, but he should sit out spring practice.

Apparently they are saying he could be cleared in as little as 4 months, in which case I would think both JB and the coaches would want him to participate. If rehab takes longer and it's a last minute decision before practices start, things could be different. This Spring will be huge in determining who our starting QB will be next year. People who ARE doctors and trainers will be deciding whether it's safe for him to be a part of it, along with our coaches.
