How about being halfway responsible and throwing them away instead of making other people clean their mess up for them? That's what happens at most colleges.

Then again, I'm talking about the student body that openly pointed and laughed at Kenny George.

I think you'll get a decent turnout saturday. Good to have coach Jones announce in convo. As for the paper airplanes...that seems about right. I think its disrespectful but students have been that way (disrespectful) in convo for a few years now.

SJ lighten up man...its paper airplanes...I worked for buidling services and so i know what its like cleaning up after me, but its paper airplanes...not mud thrown on buidlings like kids did that camped out in the dorms this past summer....

I could talk about a men's conference I went to years ago when I was like 14 and the grown men making paper airplanes and throwing them across the arena...at the time i thought it was funny, and it still is..

and since when are college kids known for their maturity?? I have been on many campuses and though the student body at other schools are much different, there is one thing they all had in common...immaturity...because its college...

anyways, i am looking forward to the game and i hope for a good turn out tomorrow night

I saw a lot of people (but maybe I was just paying attention to my hall and leadership team) pick up the trash after convo was over. Now, did everyone or even a majority do it? No...but there were probably more than you think.

It may be a little immature, but the things that go on at other colleges are as well... it's not just LU kids that are immature. Look at facebook. Is getting drunk every night of the week, then posting your pictures on facebook to show the world how passed out you are mature as well? For the most part, all Liberty has to worry about is clapping or throwing paper airplanes during convocation.
