LOL, I will put my loyalty to LU, up against anyone on here. I have been a season ticket holder/Flames Club member for 23+ years. Most of them at the Directors Level. I have missed less than a handful of games in those 23+ years (I really think it is 25+, but can only prove 23) and I drive 3 hours each way to attend. I could say a lot more, but really don't care about getting into a contest.
If being a realist and refusing to chug the kool-aid is disloyalty, so be it. Most here have finally come to the conclusion that I have been saying for 3-4 years. Gill is not our guy. Besides, based on the number of posters who are still defending the 4th down call during the UVA game, and those who have never played the game, I have zero chance of losing any sleep over any negative personal comments, (mostly from those with little to no football knowledge), especially when they are totally unfounded. Carry on. 8)

No mention of the St. Francis game? That's normally your go-to line. :blahblah

Didn’t you play football? I’m not sure if you played for the Flames or not. A lot of what you’ve stated are facts. You can be loyal to the football program and not the coach. Coach Gill is not what’s best for the program at this point. Folks here like to bring up his faith and character, but that doesn’t help their case when they are other believers out there who can display their faith to the program plus community and can still win games expected and unexpected. I support the Flames program and I hope to see another coach and staff as soon as possible. Nothing against Gill’s character, but he will not reach the level that we and even Falwell Sr. wanted. The evidence is there so, I do not need to say more.

It’s thanksgiving. There are 0 students around. Every school in the nation is dealing with this issue save your Bama, ND etc. Let alone a school A school that’s never played on thanksgiving weekend. So I get it.

I welcome anyone at the game to try to talk down the coach or the team and get an earful from her 8)
Frankly, to speak ill of anyone and she will call you out
Send her over to this site. I’ll be more than happy to explain why HCTG is not a good coach.

I would say LU. We have been more reliant on the run. As bad as our defense has been we are actually much better against the run 246.5 ypg vs 280 ypg. I think we both run similar offenses (without looking to deep into that) but we “have” better offensive players.

A good friend told me it's dry in your club level seats.
It is, but still not sure I am going to make the trip in the rain. I close on my house on the 30th, have some things to complete for that and no one is going to be there much anyway. Besides Iwo Jima didn't happen in the rain. :)

Home games and decent weather didn't go together this year. I'm sure it's going to snow December 1st. Oh my, I'm starting to sound like a Debbie Downer

Had fully intended on making the trek but the gloomy forecast is making the couch look better and better. It will likely be a game time decision for me. The ability to flip to the Auburn/Alabama game is definitely a factor as well.

I guess it's the kid in me, but I can dig some football in the snow...just not the rain. For some reason it's not the same to me. As for this weekend, I'm pushing to pass, but the wife wants to go. Strange happenings in the household this week....

The weather report for Game Day game is CHANGING.

Still 85% chance of rain at noon for tailgaters, but by the 2:00 kickoff it drops to 35% chance of rain, and then it's 20% chance of rain at at 3:00 and then only 10% chance of rain the rest of the afternoon and evening!

With temperatures in the 40s.
