As for qualifying to meet the requirements for "Insufficient Number of Deserving Teams" Remember, we are exceeding the required minimum of 3 FBS home games this season. That rule was made knowing some schools would transition with 3 FCS games.
A full FBS member that plays two FCS games will have already been selected in the first exception as outlined in the NCAA article I posted above.

We could win out and still miss out on a bowl if there are enough 6-6 teams.Class of 20Something wrote:Just trying to understand what you are trying to say here first...is your argument that we can go to a bowl game at 6-6 with 2 FCS wins, because we are in transition?BJWilliams wrote:It is common knowledge if I'm not mistaken that only one win over an FCS team can serve as a "counter" towards bowl eligibility for an FBS team. Im no paid writer with a Rolodex full of sources and the ADs number in my contacts and i know thatCorrect. But we are not an FBS team. We are a team in the second year of a transition from FCS to FBS.
