I don't think his age would hurt him if he came to LU. just get "younger" coordinators.

Let's not forget Bob Stoops may need a job.

Bob Stoops does not need a job. But in the ridiculously low possibility of him landing in Lynchburg, I might have to reassess my passion for the Flames if he were running the show. Ugh.

TT was basically run out of Cincinnati. Living here in Cinci I followed him closely. I don't think he has any fire left in him. It also didn't help that he yelled at a fan to get a job while walking off the field. I personally think it would be a terrible choice.

So looking at IM I think this is what he will do. Art was a guy that was entertaining and could relate to recruits. He didn't have the greatest resume at Houston but had proven that given time he could turn a program around. I think that means IM will go with a up and coming coach and not one that was let go from their previous employer. I would expect either a G5 coach that we can throw the check book at or a top level FCS coach that recruits Virginia and surrounding states.

Cincy is a mess of a program.

Yeah, well, I wasn't sure hiring he former AD of Baylor during the sexual assault scandal represented Liberty well. Nevertheless...

I mean our schools leader supported a guy who bragged about forcing himself on women so clearly nothing really matters.

I'm sure in the tape he states it the other way showing how many girls(trying to get in the Hollywood bubble) would make any man with money do what he wants with them. At the same time he wasn't lying. Any who I'll get back to the topic. I was wondering if anyone knew a former NFL coach who may want to get back in the game?

I don't believe Kurt has ever coached, but the idea is still intriguing.
I saw him yesterday at the game and it made me wonder. His wife needs to get rid of the Mohawk though

KW is coaching HS ball in AZ. His son was a senior wide receiver last year, led the state in receiving, if I recall correctly. We didn't recruit him, he is now playing for Nebraska, made the team as a walk-on.
He would be great as an assistant here for a couple of years, under a new HC, and then maybe make the step up. However, he loves living in AZ and is really dedicated to his family. Believe it would be a very long shot for him to come to L'burg, regardless of position/opportunity.

I always thought Herm Edwards would make an incredible College coach

Sly, I have no idea how young Cruzan is, but I doubt he was even born yet in 1989 when Coach Sam took over for Morgan Hout, who graduated from your Dad's (and my first) alma mater.

I wasn't born yet, but I know of coach Sam who had coached the Browns. I was looking for anyone else, but idk if that person (if any) would want to come to Lynchburg.
