It would be nice if the Big South added 2 schools for all sports. That would give us 8 football and 12 Basketball, I believe. Perfect numbers. Deleware State would probably come and Hampton seemed to show some interest but the presidents voted to focus on basketball and not pursue additional football. Then we were told by Kyle that "there was a plan for football expansion". The "plan" turned out to be an agreement with the Asun that basically does nothing for football at this point but might help with a d2 move up in the future.

I talked with High Point AD about 5 years ago. HP has a plan to add football, but it's years away.

They aren't in the BSC for football because they either cannot or don't want to spend the $$$$ for football scholarships, so they play in the non scholarship Pioneer League I have heard that Campbell actually has the resources, but for the time being is comfortable with their current arrangement

CSU and Coastal have both gotten perhaps more love than they deserve from the polls, which would seem tocontradict your statement earlier that the BSC "does not have a good reputation and id vieweed as a weak conference"

CSU got a complete pass on being blown out by FSU, which is fair enough, especially considering they had a bunch of players suspended I think they actually benefited from hanging with NDSU even though they lost (which is not supposed to happen) and IMHO they did not take as big a hit as they should have for losing at home to G-W
