I have not kept up much with this thread, but I read somewhere this game will not be televised ? Are there any watching options at all ?

If not, what radio station can we pick the game up on here in Roanoke ?

Football on Twitter just tweeted it'll be on ESPN3.

106.5 FM is probably your best bet on the radio if you can't get 88.3 FM

Thanks to our friends at PonyFans, here is Coach Morris from his weekly news conference:

He starts the section talking about Liberty at 3:20 by referencing JMU loss last year.

PIERCE advising on injury status: glad Turner is able to go, that would be a big loss

Liberty Football CB Chris Turner, LG Michael Henderman and RT Aharown Campbell are expected to start vs SMU.

Henderman had missed first two games with an injury, Turner and Campbell were dinged up Saturday vs Jacksonville.

I could argue that having a healthy O-Line may be as important as having Chris to tangle with their beast at receiver. This is awesome news all the way around.

How much impact, if any, would a victory against SMU have on our recruiting in the talent-rich state of Texas?

It would have a significant impact in the Metroplex ... less across the rest of the state. Having a victory over the Ponies would give us serious credibility in an area that Coach Gill works hard. It also helps to point to the season opener next fall at Baylor.

Sadly down here in Houston and over in Austin & San Antonio it won't be very well noticed.

Incidentally if you are coming to the game on Saturday, let me know so that we can meet up. I have been chatting with several of you who are coming to Dallas.

wondering how much of a distraction the legal issues of Jackson & Carrington are

gotta be some turmoil in the locker room over this

According to our radio guy, we will be going with a dark jersey at SMU...I think this is the first time ever (unless one of the older posters can recall another time) we will not wear a white jersey for an away game.

2009 or 2011? I thought we had white for both of those matchups

I've thought the same thing. Thankfully it looks like we have better player leadership this year.

We wore white against SB in '09 & '11

The only time I can remember we wore a practice jersey was at CCU in '12, but they were white too.

Couldn't get much worse so I'm glad it has improved.

Rightfully so... someone explained it to me, but I don't remember why we wore them. I think it had something to do with them being lighter, but I may be off on that.

Would you go with the navy or the red if you were picking a jersey for this one since they are wearing white?

Again looks like a LOT of public money going with the Mustangs just because they are FBS...Just like with the Tech game Id take the Flames to cover and maybe even a secondary for the Flames to win straight up

I agree, it just seems that what money is being put in is going to SMU
