We finish the offensive skill players with a look at the TE and FB.

TE

We start with the group that has had somewhat of a quiet role in the offense the last couple years. the tight ends have not done a ton of pass catching since Brandon Apon graduated but hopefully with Coach Dailey's system, we see these boys become another option for the QBs this year

Now I was going over the LFN breakdown at this position and correct me if Im wrong, but Johnson was missing from the unit so either that was an oversight or he is no longer with the program which would mean that the #1 will either be Couamin or Smith. KC is coming off an injury that caused him to miss almost the entire 2015 season, which hopefully opens the possibility of his getting an extra year of eligibility and give some additional experience for 2017. Smith finished last year as the top pass catcher among tight ends and 7th overall on the team.

Thomas Kennedy R-Junior 1 Rush 0 Yds

Kennedy is the only returning fullback for the Flames after Daquin "Buddy" Edwards left the program following the 2015 season, and landing near his hometown at Southeastern University. With only preferred walk-on Connor Maitland as the other fullback, expect TK to get a ton of work paving the way for the RBs.

Will Johnson is still on the roster and should figure into the rotation at tight end in the fall.

Several of the TE's were not available for Spring ball so summer camp will be very important for all the TE/FB's.

Thanks for the information. He probably will be our primary blocking tight end with Smith and Couamin getting most of the passing targets. Both of them would do well on our bread and butter tight end play up the seam
