Loading up on O-linemen, which is an area of need. The question is, are any of these recruits good/ready enough to help as true FR? Not many are. We were thinking Duff might have been one this year, but after listing him on the 2 deep to start the year we ended up redshirting him. Hopefully he will be ready to play next year.

Zapata looks like he could on tape. Most will probably redshirt with duff smith and passmore all coming into thenrotation, maybe Ernst Anderson as well. This kid looks like he could be a monster once bill gets a year with him.

Besides those you mentioned, getting Holder back from injury will be big. Hard to overstate how important the center position is, and he was playing well before he got hurt. He will also help in the kicking game, both as a snapper and blocker. Anderson might just be the most physically gifted of the bunch, but he has a tougher learning curve than most adjusting from a club football in Norway.

We will need one. Spicer is gone and Green is a senior next year. Majors and Brown look solid, but we need at least 4 interior D-linemen who can play. I suspect Bounds will end up on defense as well.

Same reason Brandon Tillmon chose Liberty over UNC Charlotte. He rather play for a program that can compete for championships in FCS with a chance to move up to FBS instead of going there because it is FBS and getting your brains beat in every Saturday.

Agreed with both forbidden and Dirty 30. I doubt that he jumps unless a P5 or higher level G5 offer comes in in the next couple weeks and a lot of your P5s probably have themselves set for the most part by this point with the major all-star games ong since done with.

BJ,

Remember this is when most back door deals are done, these last cpl weeks and boards start to shuffle a little bit, next thing you know offers are coming from everywhere, and with this kid one thing you cant teach or coach is size, and every school can use it

Forbidden your exactly right and it's crazy you just posted this because I just found out that South Carolina and Clemson contacted Brandon Tillmon today. I will see what I can find out but I know he is set for his official visit to Liberty this weekend and Coach Gill is scheduled for an in home visit tomorrow.

forbidden & Dirty 30 know what they are talking about on this subject. We have been blessed the past few years to not lose many players to last minute FBS offers. But we remain vulnerable until the ink dries on Signing Day.

If they're making a run at him, they better have the baseball coaches in on the pitch I reckon (no pun intended)

I look at it this way, for a lot of these kids, they may or may not have had the opportunity to see other places, and when they get people who now covet their services I see nothing wrong with checking them out networking with other people and getting a free weekends worth of meals. He has VERBALLED to us so that has LU in the lead, so another would have to really make that much more of an impression to change his mind.

I know all the things that could be possibly said to deter him, but trust me when I tell you I do believe the boys we have here KNOW how to put it down when needed as well. Fun is usually had on visits here, have never heard of a complaint from a kid after leaving the visit here, and also the facilities are normally better than where they are going anyways.

I'd say 50 50. He pulled the liberty commit tag off twitter. The last 2 guys that did that decommitted. On the contrary he hasn't announced anything and we haven't replaced him recruiting wise like we did harvey and camp. Unless of course bounds has been switched to defense which is possible.

According to LFN's Signing Day Primer, he solidified his commitment over the weekend and will be signing with us tomorrow
