In case you guys hadn't heard...the same officiating crew that melted down in the Miami-Duke game will be working this game Thursday night. Hopefully it doesn't come down to a final play, last second squib kick debacle or who knows what might happen.

Rain supposed to taper off by midday. Should be fine by game time.

Just checked the forecast again, you're right, the hourly forecast says it will clear off around 3pm. Temperature near perfect.

I know it's nitpicking... but you can't always follow the hourly forecasts that closely. Especially when you are 24 - 48 hours away. It's very possible that there is still light shower activity around in the area including a drizzle. You're right though... rain is supposed to be heavy at times late this evening into tomorrow. We will get a chance to see how fast the field drains.

I don't know Rocco's last year as head coach was pretty disappointing too. We had Mike Brown, Chris Summers and Aldreakis Allen along with a host of other talented players. Yet, we weren't able to beat Stony Brook the last game of the season to capture the out-right Big South Championship. However ballcoach, I had never been more optimistic about an LU season like I had with this one. I actually thought we would go 9-2 and that was worst case scenario. With that said, this IS the most disappointing season in recent memory.

However, anytime we get a chance to beat coastal especially on national tv and with them now leaving for FBS it makes this game even more exciting for our team to send them out with a loss. This is a crucial game for the offseason though, to go out with a winning record and to knock off the #4/3 team in the country would be huge!
