As I said, this isn't a "must win" for us. Now it would certainly help our resume (much like the Montana win will), but this game isn't going to make or break our season as a whole. Now Gardner-Webb will be a "must win" regardless of our result this week. This likely will be Coastal's last shot at a title until they get into the Sun Belt, and what better thing for us than to knock them off on that Thursday night in November and send them packing without the Big South trophy. That journey begins next Saturday in Boiling Springs

FWIW Ga State beat GASO yesterday to become bowl eligible. Just kind of makes it worse to think about the GW & Monmouth games though

Yep. This team had enough talent to make some noise in the playoffs. It's a shame they couldn't bring their game against lesser opponents.

Not that it ended up helping us, but I was on record early on as saying that by the end of the season our win over GA State would be a better win than JMU´s over SMU. SMU will definately NOT be going to a bowl this year.
