Radford will not host a Regional . I expect RU will be sent to Vanderbilt or Louisville both are hosting regional.

Can some RPI guru tell me how North Carolina with an RPI of 24 got passed over , yet Oregon with RPI of 66 got in ?
LU had higher RPI than Oregon.

Can someone one here explain the continued success of DBU? I know a slew of folks who go there and even they can't figure out why that program in Dallas has become such a powerhouse. Glad the Horns squeaked into the field for Augie but not liking their chances in that regional.

How is DB's hitting coach?

Also, Maryland and ECU are both in the field with Maryland being one of the last 4 in. If only...

How did Radford get such a high RPI. They did not play that tough of a schedule. They played only Virginia Tech from ACC, Auburn from SEC and West Virginia from Big 10. They avoided the good ACC and SEC teams.

They lost 6 of 7 prior to the ACC tournament, had a losing conference record and their leading hitter just got suspended indefinitely.

I agree 100%. I think they could reduce the number of games and shorten the season. Not to mention the season starts too early. February is too early to be playing baseball.
I believe the NCAA does it this way to prevent teams from having 2 good starting pitchers and dominating. They force teams to have a deep pitching staff.

Coach Szefc has built one heck of a program, they just came out of nowhere last year and now they're knocking off the #1 overall seed.
