i like the screens but the only thing is the panels that are tacky and the picture doesn't take up the whole screens.

Is this because the screens are wide? If so, I have no problem with not stretching the signal to make it fit. I haaaaate going over to someone's house who's ponied up the cash for a widescreen television only to be stretching a standard def, analog television signal. What's the point?

Scorch....
Do you prefer those people to switch between the two sizes depending on which channel they are watching?

No, I prefer them to set the aspect ratio setting on their television to "Source" or the equivalent for the brand of television they own. This will automatically display the picture in the appropriate aspect ratio.

I'm one of the people who is always switching back and forth. My TV doesnt detect it and I hate hate hate any type of picture distortion. Even if it's ever so slight, I'd rather miss what's going on, on the side of the screen than to have the long faces.

OK. So I go to google and type in "fat head" for an image search--to come up with a witty comeback. #1 response--The first picture.

In case anybody was wondering, the seams were tightened up and they are something you get used to. I just dont like them. There's still a couple of spots where you can see the other side. It's not a big deal, but when you spent a lot of money and the old ones were better looking, it kinda makes you wonder.
