I love how we're talking crap concerning a kid who hasn't even stepped foot on the floor yet.

anyone remember the articles about him when he first transferred here? Questioning how LU landed a kid with NBA or near NBA talent? I'll take their word for it....they get paid for their opinions and to write about them...others just throw them out for the heck of it

honest question: Are there any NBA scouts following liberty? WU has several in the stands at every game right now.

I cannot give an exact number on scouts....I can find out though...but I'm sure its far less then WU, although I'm also sure it will be double the amount from last year to this one

Liberty vs. Lipscomb Tonight Will Be A Special Game For Brewington

Brewington is one of three D-I players with hearing loss.
December 21, 2006
Lynchburg, Va.
Junior Dwight Brewington is one of three players at the Division I level that plays with some sort of hearing impairment. Brewington has 60 percent hearing loss in both ears and plays with hearing aids. Ryan Daniel of Lipscomb and Chris Devine of UC Santa Barbara join Brewington on this short list. Daniel is completely deaf and uses hearing aids, and Devine is deaf in one ear.

Tonight’s game against Lipscomb presents a unique situation as Brewington and Daniel could meet on the court. It is believed to be one of the first games ever between two players suffering from hearing loss at the Division I level.

There is a small possibility Brewington could face Devine as well later this season. Both Liberty and UC Santa Barbara will participate in this season’s ESPN BracketBuster. Liberty is a designated visiting team and UC Santa Barbara is a designated home team. ESPN will announce the BracketBuster match ups on January 29.

Tip is set for Liberty versus Lipscomb at 7 p.m. at the Vines Center tonight

An interesting situation indeed. I wonder if he knows sign language and if yes what style he uses.
