I'll defer to Sly or somebody to gussy this up proper, but I like this kid as a TE. He has sneaky speed for the position and with his size, he would be an excellent 5th option in the passing game. I also love his physicality as a run blocker, he could be a real road grader there.

I am shocked that an Omaha kid didn't immediately commit yesterday when offered by the Huskers ...

Nebraska signed one defensive end from Omaha Public Schools in the 2015 class in Central defensive end DaiShon Neal. The Huskers are pursuing another in Omaha South's Noah Fant.

The Huskers — along with Wyoming — offered Fant on Wednesday. Both schools are interested in Fant as a defensive end, but the 6-foot-5, 210-pounder also plays tight end.

I don't care how good a blocker he is, a 210 lb TE is not a "road grader". That term is reserved for a Guard who is like 320 plus and a good straight ahead run blocker but too slow to be very effective pulling on sweeps or in pass protection.
