The kid is a competitor and under utilizedIt seems to me Theo has been getting quite a bit of praise for his game and his leadership lately, and I agree it is deserved. He was not utilized a lot early, but that was partly because he missed the entire preseason with a bad ankle. He has been playing as big a role as anyone in the second half of the season. I assume when you say Drew gets beat on the boards a lot you are referring to times you can recall where there were rebounds you thought he should have had and didn't. Fair enough, but the fact is he has more rebounds per game and per minute than anyone else on the team. Andoh passes less than Drew. He shoots more and turns it over more than anyone on the team.
As for Drew he should have fewer turnovers than Andoh. Some would argue because Drew ain't passing. He is a jerk on the court with nothing to back it up. He is shooting 51% but break out the shot chart. If it's not a dunk it's a crap shoot. He has done absolutely 0 to improve his game and gets beat on the boards consistently. Had he worried less about trying to figure out the other ways to dunk and spent less time trying to cheap shot players and be an overall thug and maybe JUST MAYBE worked on a nice 8-15' jumper that is consistent he would have been a special player.
Maxwell has been a nice surprise. He still has a long way to go, but he could be a load in the low post. Needs to hit the treadmill, but so do I so I'm going to cut him some slack.....and another slice of prime rib!
