Obviously HP is a better team than us, but Radford beat them not long ago by about the same margin they beat us. They are far from invincible. I actually agree with ballcoach. There are no dominant teams in the BSC. IF we win another game (I believe we will, but it is by no means a sure thing) it will be because we cut down on our turnovers, put together 40 minutes of solid basketball and/or catch someone on an off day. I don't think the opponent will matter that much.

40 minutes is the key. So far we haven't really played a good "half", much less an entire game. More often than not, it's about an 8-10 minute spurt and that's it. And our best basketball appears to come after we fall behind by 20.

I'm still here man I was actually on the halftime feature tonight. They did a story about former athletes and what they are doing now and I was added to the mix. They forgot about the part where they fired me just kidding. I'm honored they put me in there.

As for Clement, I feel badly for him because he isn't an Analyst. He and Matt Warner are really good on the Game On show together but being an Analyst is a tough job and a different skill set. Especially when you haven't played or coached at a certain level. That's how I felt when I did a baseball game on ESPN 3 with Nick Pierce. I never played baseball. I did coach little league for 1 season. The better move for LFSN if they weren't going to bring me back would have been to put Paul Nazigian in the Analyst chair and if they really needed to use Clement put him at the desk. Naz has the same experience with the program that I do. Actually more. He was an assistant for 5 or more seasons, played on my team in the late 80's early 90's and has appeared in 3 Big South Championship games as a coach. He is great calling games on radio with Alan York.

Clement definitely belongs in the studio, not on press row. He's really, really good on Game On and that's where he needs to stay.

We trailed the entire game I believe . Yet we play as if we are protecting a lead. I guess if we ever get a lead we will be in good shape. When a team falls behind by 20 you have to shoot the ball. not try to run a shot clock draining set play.
