Thank you. I don't know how many times I need to explain the Brevard situation before people stop blaming it on JMU. The two had nothing to do with each other.

Thanks for that lang. I did forget about the stony brook thing. anyhoo, the schedule is certainly improved with Montana and JMU both coming to the mountain, plus very winnable home games against new kid on the block KSU and PC and CCU coming to our place to close out the year (and likely decide the autobid again)

From Lang's Twitter-

"Want a hint on who the final opponent on Liberty's 2015 schedule might be? Check out the 1st song on The Hold Steady's 'Separation Sunday'"

Based on Lang's clue, we are looking at either Sacramento State, Delaware State or Alabama State

My guess is Delaware State. My reasoning below.

On Sac State message boards they are looking for a home game on 9/5 (Currently they only have 4 home games scheduled). I can't see us only going with 5 home games. If Barber can get 6 home games, I'm sure he'll go that route. Looking at our schedule for 2015, that isn't an easy schedule. Alabama State was a decent team this year where as Delaware State was bad this year and hasn't been good since 2007. Delaware State might be a good game to start the season with, before we run the gauntlet of the next 4 OOC games.

Next season with 12 games for FCS teams will be 2019. Let me explain...

Under a standard provision of NCAA rules, all FCS programs were allowed to play 12 regular-season games in 2013, and also in 2014. In years when the period starting with the Thursday before Labor Day and ending with the final Saturday in November contains 14 Saturdays, FCS programs could have played 12 games instead of the regular 11. After 2014, the next season in which 12-game seasons are allowed will be 2019.

My guess is JMU, Delaware State and Montana will all be 7 pm and PC, coastal and Kennesaw will all be 330, although personally I would put KSU at 1 and CCU at 7 with that likely being for the autobid next year

Fantastic schedule. Maybe the toughest schedule yet on paper that we've ever had? Home slate is probably the best I've seen in the 12 years I've attended. Montana, JMU, Coastal all at home? Exciting. Attendance records could be shattered next year, we have a shot for over 20K for those three home games and possibly Delaware State since it's the season opener. 2 FBS schools looks good too. I really hope the excitement built this year in the fan base is carried over to next year. Could be a really, really special year.

You're more likely to see CCU at 1. If we can tell students they can leave for Thanksgiving by 4:30 on Saturday they're more likely to stay for that game than having to stay all the way to Sunday.

Thats a good observation Jon...JMU would be an awesome draw and last weekend in September, while a little earlier than years past, isn't so big a change.

Could the JMU game be the first ever sellout in Williams Stadium history?

I really think we could fill the stadium for that one even if we had the 2nd phase of construction done (25k).
