Agree... except for LUO which is becoming well known with ads on Foxnews, etc.

But even there Fox News and evangelical bubbles are largely the same demographic. I'm in an area in Hawaii that is flush with solid churches and almost nobody has any idea what Liberty is, where Liberty is, or that there is an online option. LU, for being so young, has made tremendous progress but we're still barely a drop in the bucket outside of the target demo. That's changing rapidly and will continue to do so until the school is on par with ND and BYU, but that could still be a couple of decades.

I fully admit that I thought after we went down 21-10 to JMU and saw the pace that JMU was running on offense that we would not recover. The defense proved me wrong. Being wrong never felt so right. And since i've been wrong 2 times and we've won 2 times, I'm going to predict that we get blown out by Nova in hopes that I am again wrong. Call me skeptical call me Superstitious. but i'm not going to break the streak. I'll continue to tow the Dark Side(TM) company line until I'm proven right :) Go Flames.

they have the whole game vs Deleware up on you tube, they are smallish type receiver and have a 6'6 er sprinkled in, they kill you with alot of the midrange crossers and then take the shots downfield, the secondary will have to step up again, but it still seems everything is predicated off of their run game still. I see alot of formations but same plays being run

Please.....Americans and geography? 5% of North Carolina residents don't know that they share a border with South Carolina. I would love to know the numbers of people who don't know what Hawaii is, much less its location, or still believe that Barack Obama was born there.

Fox News' top show gets 5 million viewers on a good night. There are 90-100 million evangelical Christians. Size and demographics are quite different.

If we don't beat ourselves we beat Nova.
We are easily a 5 to 6 scores/game team when we don't give the ball away.
I really like catching Nova after a bye week.
I really like Josh having last week under his belt coming in to this game.
It's time for all of us to catch the "we come to win" attitude of this 2014 Flames team.
Go Flames!!!

You are to be commended. It's fans like you that make all of us look good and help to get LU to the next level.

Someone should start a crowdfunding campaign so that some of us that can't go can help send some others that can.

If my math is right then that will be close to 1,000 students in a 12,500 capacity stadium. There will be a LOT of RED on Saturday.

Villanova has the chemistry to make a run in the playoffs this season, but the Wildcats attention is firmly on Liberty University.

"The great thing about the playoffs is that everyone you play can be a top-10 team," head coach Andy Talley stated during his Monday teleconference.

This week, the Wildcats are preparing to take on the Liberty Flames at home on Saturday after the Flames knocked off CAA-members James Madison in the first round of the FCS playoffs. The Wildcats had a bye last weekend, and allowed the team to spend Thanksgiving at home with their families.

This most important thing from that story is Villanova's injury report:
Andy Talley wrote:We get Ross Hall back, our center, we get Jake Prus back, one of our offensive guards, and we get Tanoh Kpassagnon back. The only guy who is still questionable is Gary Underwood; I'm not sure we'll get him back this week.

Opponents 15-40 yard line is 4-down territory for Villanova.

Gouch, Villanova's kicker, was demoted after missing 2 of 4 field goals in their first game against Syracuse. He has the leg but apparently is not accurate (he still kicks off).

Weyler, his replacement, has not fared any better. All together, the two have combined for 9 attempts this year, making only 4 (Missed from: 32, 35, 35, 34, 25. Made from: 24, 42, 25, 24). Pitiful, considering that the average line of scrimmage per attempt was from the 14 yard line. They have only attempted 3 field goals in the last 10 games. Even a chip shot is dicy to them.

Conversely, Villanova has gone for it on 4th down 22 times and has converted on 14 of the attempts. Thus, they have much more confidence going for it on 4th down than going for the 3 points.

Liberty's defense needs to be ready to play 4-down ball every time Villanova crosses mid-field!

Just looking around over on the Villanova boards, it is incredibly obvious that they do not care at all about their football team. Granted, the basketball team is pretty amazing this year, but most of the people over there (okay, BOTH of the people over there) think we are going to outnumber them in their own stadium.

According to stats it says that we give around 190 yds through the air per game, and Villanova gives up a whopping 250. I hope the staff takes notice of that and if we have our full complement of WR's this could become a track meet. Our top 4 are very dangerous Petey, Gabe, Herman and Shells, very tough to stop and they play that 3-3-5 defense, so we may end of gashing them on the ground because that normally ends up looking like a 5-2 walkup
