So what reception does Rocco get? His last year or so was rough but the first 3-4 were some of the highest highs we've ever been on.

Personally, the man gave me my first job in the business so I can't help but respect him. I'm a little biased though.

Will you cheer?

Will you boo?

The further we get away from that situation, the more I realize that was handled poorly on all sides. Rocco was given too much authority and in turn used it in ways that weren't the most profitable. Absolute power corrupts absolutely. The change needed to be made when it was made, but I think it'd be wrong to put all blame on Rocco. Just as much goes to Jeff and Jr, in my opinion.

All of these things are correct.

Makes me sick that Sigmon wont play Saturdy. Senior year, and this game had huge implications for Nick in terms of coaching, and homecoming, and the recruiting process out of highschool. Plus I know he was upset about the loss last week and not being able to help his team. Really feel for the kid and his family.

You guys know my feelings about Wimbo. One of my favorite things about him is that he doesn’t hold back. He answers the questions and tells you what he’s thinking, what happened, etc. Most coaches wouldn't give you the access that he did about the adjustments on Saturday.

Secondly, I said this to Lang on Twitter, but those Rocco quotes are just plain weird. I can hear him say that with his cadence and everything.

this is one reason why I love Danny Rocco
quoting Danny Rocco, LANG wrote:This year, I shared a little more information. I actually shared Dr. Falwell’s vision with them. I spoke as clearly and as articulately as I could about what Dr. Falwell’s vision was for Liberty University. It’s kind of neat to be able to do that.
assuming he isn't talking out his butt, and there's no reason to believe he would be doing that... this is cool

of course if the whole thing was tongue-in-cheek and I completely missed the point, then I'm a doosh and stand corrected

but I don't think I did/am

Daniel C. Rocco.

The C stands for Champion.

I hold no hard feelings for Rocco. He turned our program around to some degree when it was really in the crapper. He couldn't win the big one here, but he was a pretty good coach. Hope he loses Saturday.

If were going into halftime and losing by a large margin I say we do an impromptu induction into the Hall of Fame, then offer him his job back (privately of course). Then hope that it messed with his head enough to flake out in the 2nd half and give us the win.

Still hate that he stayed in state at the same level. I appreciate what he did here. I still havent moved on and I have weird x girlfriend feelings when I see Rocco in a Presser. A win Saturday would be huge for our fan base and AD. Our current coaching staff would have the biggest boost in confidence and could srping board our juniors and seniors into a great frame of mind going into the Big South schedule.

I think this weekend is the biggest game in program history, not in playoff implications but in terms of Fan Momentum and just the general excitement and positive vibes around the program. If we win this game it could be the hump we have all been wishing to get over. If we lose, it could demoralize our Athletic Staff, the coaching staff, and the fan base.
