STONY BROOK, N.Y. — Sophomore Dalton Easton threw a 37-yard touchdown pass to junior Chad Ward to give the Bryant University football team the lead in the third quarter, and the defense did the rest as the Bulldogs defeated Colonial Athletic Association member Stony Brook 13-7 on Thursday night at LaValle Stadium.

In one of the biggest wins in Bryant’s Division I football history, the Bulldogs (1-0) held the Seawolves (0-1) to just eight first downs and only 186 yards of offense. It was Bryant’s first victory over a CAA team.

embarrassing loss for SBU and CSU should be denied any shot at playoffs for scheduling that crap

what a freakin joke that school is

Presby, well... it's Presby. You really have to wonder when they sit back and evaluate this move to DI. Just seems they don't have the infrastructure to compete at this level. Even in the BSOUTH

EDIT: aaaaaand they have a "Fire Nichols" thread going already

Half of the Big South should be D-II, along with a lot of other FCS schools.
