So that makes 3 guards for next year and we are now full for the moment. Correct?

Never to many guards - let's go with 5 starting guards.... Wait - I remember this from somewhere?

We will need those guards. Next year, Jesse will be gone and Speaks will be a Senior, and right now we are stocked with young bigs. Obviously, if we have a shot at a monster like Gielo's teammate on the polish U18 team, we need to make room, but signing guards right now makes perfect sense.

Just a little update on Chad, he had 17 last night (including 3 treys) in NW Florida's victory over traditional JUCO power Chipola. The victory assured them of a playoff berth and at least a share of their conference championship.

And just a reminder, Chad was a qualifier out of high school so he'll have 3 full seasons of eligibility when he arrives on campus. It is not the typical JUCO situation.

A little follow-up on Chad's season ...
Steve Forbes Northwest Florida JC was named Panhandle Coach-of-the-Year today. We had several players join Coach Forbes with Panhandle honors. Chris Jones was named Panhandle Player-of-the-Year, as well as a All-Panhandle First Team selection. Joining Jones on the All-Panhandle First Team were Rod Rucker, Trency Jackson, and Neiko Hunter. Chad Donley was selected to the All-Panhandle Second Team

2 questions come to mind.
1. Did Morehead State give Chad a scholarship, and if so, why?
2. If he is paying his own way, why Morehead? Seems a strange choice for a Florida boy.

He grew up in Texas before moving to Florida. But i know of no Eastern Kentucky ties. My guess is that he knew somebody who knew somebody.
