If you want to talk ASUN smack or ramble ad nauseum about your favorite pro or major college teams, this is the place to let it rip.

What possibilities? Gus Johnson laughing at how bad our team is while getting whipped up and down the court by Villanova, Marquette, Creighton or Providence in an empty Vines Center on national television? Or the other side of the spectrum going on a miracle run in the conference tournament in The Garden after beating the number 1 seed on a buzzer beater that carries us all the way to a championship victory.

A couple of thoughts on this. I can't imagine an empty venue with a Big East team in the building no matter how good or bad the team is playing. Secondly, no matter what conference Liberty lands in, they will be able to recruit that caliber of talent within 2 years.

I can't wait for all of this SunBelt talk to get settled one way or the other. The suspense is taxing.

But if that did actually happen the first time we played against Villanova we would look like we just came off of some NCAA sanctions, that first year or two would be rough. But I would go to Vines for all of them and I would probably travel to most road games, especially Butler. But I'm a college basketball freak I don't think the average fans would share my passion, or my excitement to see some of those historic arenas in person.

Contraire Mon Frere. This post is 8002.

According to the counter showing on my computer, THIS is post 8004. Counting backwards up the page you land on my last post at 8000. (Not that I care. Just enjoying hijacking this thread.)

JMU fan had this to say today.

Newest Conference Rumor
I spoke with a very high level Liberty official this week who was very direct in his belief that Jmu would be #12 for Sun Belt. He mentioned the sun belt sweetening the pot in effort to land Jmu. Fwiw he also said timing is mid May.

I still think we land somewhere else

And my question would be, what "very high level Liberty official" is releasing that kind of information?

How does a JMU grad get info that none on this board can get? I'm not saying he's not be truthful, but goes to show we're not plugged in very well here.

Just this week, there were people claiming that Winthrop was a shoe-in to get into the Colonial.
Well the Winthrop to CAA is coming from my boss who used to be a higher up for Winthrop and is still really tight with the Winthrop president.

I just pulled it out of my butt because it made sense. Then again, a random guy on the internet said it so it must be true.
I am not a random guy.
