LANG with the injury report:
http://www.newsadvance.com/sports/liber ... f6878.html
LANG wrote:Some other very quick notes from today’s press availability:

• Remember Aldreakis Allen? The Liberty tailback ran for 1,000-plus yards last season but has yet to play a down for the Flames this season. He was able to get through practice last week without a flare-up of his painful left calf strain, and he’s listed as questionable for Saturday. It would certainly be convenient if he could play, considering the uncertain status of starter Des Rice’s left ankle.

The big concern for Allen is balancing his desire to get on the field for the first time with the reality that he needs to be careful not to re-injure his leg. Allen has no chance at getting a redshirt, so he’ll do everything he can to make some sort of impact in the last three games.

“It was mean the world just for me and my family,” Allen said. “I came here to try to reach the next level and try to provide for my family. My time is running out, so it would mean the world.”

• It sounds like defensive tackle Francis Bah may be able to get back on the field this week as well. He hasn’t played since the Kentucky Wesleyan game on Sept. 28 due to a lower body injury. With Bah out, JaRon Greene and Jibrille Fewell have split time at the nose.

Im in Portsmouth with the wife and son getting ready for his dedication on Sunday. All good things must come to an end, but itll be nice to get a chance to actually watch the TV broadcast, which is something I never had a chance to do. Anyway, would like to see Woodrum get off to a better start than he did last week and hopefully put himself in a better frame of mind for the home finale next week and go into the offseason on a high note down in North Charleston in a couple weeks
