What is with the PA guy this season. He shows little excitment for the team and at times sounds completely bored.

I wonder if they saw it on tv and realized they needed to do something, or if the new girl just couldn't make it this week? The girl last week used to do the LU Club Sports thing on YouTube, and did a decent job of it. She just seemed totally nervous and out of her element on the sidelines.

Anyway, there are still people that come to the games just to hear the band. At the 1st home football game I sat next to three. It was a couple with a daughter that wanted to be in the marching band next year after she graduates from college. They left after halftime as soon as the show was over. I wish they would have stayed, but I am proud that the band still brings people to games that normally wouldn't come. I do also like the colorguard using the pom poms during the stand
music.
I wish Liberty would do what Pitt does at their home games. They play "Sweet Caroline" and the students sing along and do motions. The scoreboard actually puts the words up with a bouncing ball, it's like karaoke.

Heck, if I had known they were seeking a new PA announcer, I'd have auditioned myself.Because it is an event, not a game. If you wanna be Big Time you gotta give people a reason to come. It's the way of the world post 1970
Speaking of PA system, does anyone know why there has to be a PA announcement during EVERY "dead ball" or "stoppage of play". They always do a public service announcement, commerical or blare out music or something every time. It's like there is a law against having 3 seconds of silence during a game.
