Well Richmond played tough against State (should have won) so maybe they ran out of gas, I wouldn't look past them still

Despite being beat up from last week's game (not sure if Ben Edwards played tonight) RU fought back only to miss 48 yd FG as time expired. Next week should be a great test for our guys to keep the pedal to the metal!

Go Flames!!!

Typical let down game. Richmond is probably not as good as we thought they were but they still should have beat Gardner Webb.

Maybe I am not giving GW enough credit and I guess time will tell on that.

McCray has completely re-energized the program. Yes, we got drilled by Marshall, not a shocker, but these two home wins against Furman and Richmond are absolutely huge. The most excitement surrounding the program for at least the past six years or so. Now another big test at Wofford next Saturday night.

Good win, for the Bulldogs, although does anybody think (besides me) that Coach Rocco may have been caught looking ahead to the matchup with his former team the next week?

In a case like this I don´t think it´s so much the coaches looking ahead as the players. Coaches have a job to do prepping the team every week and I think as professionals they pretty much do it every week regardless of the opponent. The players are college kids. They are more likely to get cocky and mail it in against a team they think they should beat easily.

Yeah it's not like his teams have any sort of history where he loses a close game they should have won and losing a game for no apparent reason to a supposedly inferior team Study
