The team was in convocation this morning (I heard on the way to work) and they had the students pretty amped up. They even had a video talking about Gillville and encouraging the students to come tonight. Could be looking at another full house on the student side tomorrow night

Now that is taking full advantage of the college experience!

Incidentally, did Scribe have a preview story in this morning's fishwrap? I can't find one online.

In the brief Turner Gill era at Liberty, the Flames have not been known for their fast starts.

Isn't it great that your work is so eagerly anticipated?

And I plan on doing some live tweeting of the game tonight for those who are stuck at work or in places where the game can't be watched. Be sure to follow our two FF accounts to stay up to speed on the action:
  • @FlameFans
    @FlameFansInGame
And of course you all should already be following @Flames_Nation.

It started as Roccotown a few years ago with students camping out all night outside the stadium and Coach Rocco bringing them donuts for breakfast. The tradition has grown under Coach Gill and last night they had 377 kids camp out all night and helping to kickstart the tailgating on campus.

I went to RoccoTown a few years ago for the CCU game. There were probably 25 then. So it has considerably grown the past few years. The previous record was 120 students. So there seems to be some more enthusiasm with the students.
