Started Alina on pitocin (I think I spelled that right) because her dilating is still rather slow and they are concerned about infection for the baby because her water broke almost 12 hours ago so they want to get him out of there pretty soon. She is fully effaced so hopefully it will help things open up so she can push him out tonight and wont need a C-section.

Had a bit of a heart rate scare with the baby but he stabilized and is doing better now. Alina got a little freaked out and got short of breath so they gave her an oxygen mask, but we have some of her favorite music going and she has significantly calmed down

Had some complications and Michael is in the NICU but he is improving and hopefully we will get to hold him here soon and we are looking at heading home mid-next week after all that has gone on the last few days

THEN SHE PROTESTED HIS FIRST OUTFIT BEING A FLAMEFANS ONESIE IN RED. BUT SHE SETTLED DOWN A LITTLE WHEN WE PLAYED "fan the flames" ON THE IPOD DOCK IN THE ROOM.

We've got some pics uploaded to facebook now...Baby started feeding yesterday but he had to start on formula. we are hoping to make the transition to nursing him by the time she gets discharged from the hospital (which looks like tomorrow)
