I've got GOOD news and BAD news about the new concessions:

1. The good news--the third base concessions has nachos!
2. The bad news--they charge extra for CHEESE (I'm not making this up). :dontgetit

Isn't that what makes nachos different than 'chips' :dontgetit What if you just ordered tortilla chips and asked for a side of cheese?

If we get bounced tom. a change must be made, plain and simple. The interest in the program has really taken a hit as the losses have mounted. I was OK with Toman (not happy) with finishing second every year and winning high 30 games but getting swept by Coastal. This year has been embarassing and is not acceptable for LU baseball. Alex is a great kid and i think will probably bounce back next year but what in the world is he still doing in the everday lineup at .230 average. Why not give Austin Bream a shot, heck Perritt produced when given a shot. Next year is going to be even worse unless he has a MAJOR upgrade coming in (assuming he stays because everyone says JB won't can him). This year has just left a bad taste in my mouth just like the last few years have ended. He has not gotten the job done flat out.

$3.50 for Nachos (just the chips)
.50 cents for cheese
.50 for chili

The portion size was huge, and the cheese was actually above room temperature, but it wasn't served in a souvenir baseball or batting helmet bowl.

Wow that's a good chunk of change just for chips! Maybe whatever club sport manning the station is trying to pull a fast one!
I actually think having nachos in a batting helmet is sorta gross. If its sweaty it makes the nachos too salty!

230...that's being a little generous ain't it...how about .206 season/.211 conference. And there are a couple more that should not be in there every game too. This coach needs to learn that players can play multiple positions, not just one; and do whatever it takes to get the better hitter in the lineup. They always say let your stats on the field do your talking; but Toman can't see or hear them. I wouldn't let this man coach a good rec. ball team; as he is clueless.
I just hope Barber can see this and cans this jerk. Pack him and his things up and wheel him out of town. LOSER!!

Fellas, if any firing happens - it will not be from JB. One other note - if he does make it through the summer and is still the coach next year - dont plan on any firing happening the year after. You think the 42 win schedule season was bad - well just be prepared for another one. The mentality will be the same it was that year - you can't fire someone who just set a school record for wins...... not how do we best set up/prepare our team for a chance to make a run at a conference championship or a possible at large bid - if we have a good year.

I agree that it won't be Barber who cans him. They are buddies and Barber believes every word that Toman says. Jr isn't a fan of Toman though so if there's a change, and I really hope there is, it'll be pushed for by Jr.

If your ensenuating a jerry jr firing wouldnt he use the same logic as he did on the rocco/chapman situation. That would be jumping jb, to me its the same scenario

Very pitiful and embrassing performance against Radford. If we cannot beat Radford in tournament on home field, who can we beat ? For what ever the reason, Flames did not come to play yesterday.

I have never been anti barber but if he can't make the tough decisions and fire underperforming coaches simply because of a personal relationship then he is in the wrong line of work.

Exactly. The AD's job is to put someone in the position that who will get the team the best shot at winning. If he's letting his personal life get in the way, maybe it's time for both of them to be shown the door. Toman clearly isn't performing. How much longer can this be tolerated by the administration?

Thank you! See someone gets it!
'Your soda is 2.50. It's an extra 1.50 if you want a cup to put it in'
I can understand 'extra' for chili, but by definition an order of nachos has cheese. If not, it would just be an order of tortilla chips!
