If you want to talk ASUN smack or ramble ad nauseum about your favorite pro or major college teams, this is the place to let it rip.

You have to wonder what goes on in his head considering he played here one year, left, played at ASU, left...would anybody even want him...and add to that the fact that its gonna send a message to pro scouts all over, not just the NBA as I think I mentioned in another scenario

It doesn't look like too many of the Magnificent 7 panned out well. A cautionary tale to transfers who think the grass is always greener.

Was Gordon part of the Magnificent 7? I thought that was Curry/Sanders' freshman year. Anyway, I talked to Eric Senior 2 weeks ago after Kelvin Edwards told me he was looking for a basketball camp (Yes I'm Liberty legend NAME DROPPING Again Haize). I had no idea Evan was looking to leave school. I will have to ask him what Evan plans to do the next time we speak. Very surprising given the fact that he has already transferred once.

It would make a lot of sense. IU's losing a lot this year and he could potential step in and play big minutes right away.

He has graduated, and should be able to play for the Hoosiers next year. Knowing that it is going back to his home state and the school where his brother played his one year, it kindof makes sense now.

since he has already transferred once he might not be elligible immediately..i think the NCAA will have to give him a special exemption

Nope. Once you finish an undergraduate degree you can transfer, without sitting out, as long as you enroll in a graduate program that isn't offered by the school you're leaving.

I´m thinking he must have already gotten a favorable ruling from the NCAA on this, or he wouldn´t have announced he is transferring. He can´t sit another year, so this is the only way he can play D1 basketball anywhere except ASU.

No. Only review that has to be done is to make sure the academic part of it works out. Graduate transfers is pretty much a clear cut, no nonsense deal.

Graduate transfers, yes. But this is more than a graduate transfer. Because he has transferred once before, this second transfer trans action does have to be formally approved by the NCAA.

But it will be approved easily.

All transfers have to be approved. Nothing different has to be approved in this case than any other graduate transfer. Him having already transferred once doesn't make any difference here.

I´m thinking this move by Evan may also bode well for the Hoosiers in recruiting the youngest Gordon brother, who is a blue chipper.

And I'm 100% confident he is wrong here when he doesn't even understand the simple rules of National Letter of Intent.

The rules governing the NLI have nothing to do with those governing either Graduate or Multi-DI transfer scenarios.

I never said there would be an issue. In fact, I said he would be easily approved. I simply pointed out that the multiplicity of his scenario will necessitate greater scrutiny by the NCAA, including but not limited to, more forms to be completed and additional investigative/review steps by the NCAA.

I know that. If you can't get something right that is as simple and widely known as the LOI, how am I supposed to believe you on something more complicated like transfers? That's my point.
