So then why is Westbrook a candidate as the second best player?
Because he's one of the 2 stars on the team and he has gotten a ton of hype. Harden kind of flew under the radar until the end of the season last year.

Wonder how much OKC regrets having traded away true PGs in Eric Bledsoe (they drafted him then traded him away right after drafting him) and Eric Maynor for peanuts? Clippers still owe OKC a first round draft pick for him and it doesn't look like it's going to be a decent draft pick anytime soon. They could use both of them right now. Having James Harden would help too obviously since he could be a play maker, but at least they got something of value out of him.

Kobe, Steve Blake, Nash, and Meeks all out for the Lakers. Their guard rotation is now Chris Duhon, Darius Morris, and Andrew Goudelock with Duhon coming off the bench. Hard to imagine that Duhon is now a seventh string guard. The Lakers couldn't even win the NCAA Championship with that guard rotation!

I really hope David Stern makes Denver vs. Golden State go to 7 games. Easily one of the most entertaining playoff series I have ever seen in any sport.

Does the Ewing Theory apply if a team is no better but also no worse if they lose a player? Joe Johnson seems like a good candidate given the Hawks success this year.

There sure have been a lot of horrible games in the playoffs thus far. Injuries and road mediocrity.

If he could stay healthy he'd be a star. He'll still only be 28 at the beginning of next season. If he gets through that healthy, he's going to command a ton of money on the FA market.

Impressed the board has not delved into the debauchery of arguing over homosexuality. Well done, folks. And none of that was said with sarcasm.

why argue over it? He has a right to live however he wants. I may disagree with it, but such is life.

Is there anyone in the NBA that's easier to dislike than Blake Griffin? At this point he's coming across as all the worst aspects of Rasheed Wallace dialed up to 10.
