The Master's is one of the greatest sporting events in the world. Plentiful free parking. $1.50 pimento cheese sandwiches. The most beautiful course in the world. No cell phones! The most knowledgeable golf patrons. Everywhere you look, you are reminded of the great moments that have happened there.

Btw. Thanks for the info.
1.50 pimento cheese sándwiches! That´ll sure make you forget you paid 2 grand to get in!

True! I have been fortunate to never pay to go. I would never be able to pay to go.

Not that this is anything new... but according to one of my sources, we are expected to officially join the Sun Belt in the next 2-4 weeks although there have been some renewed talks with CUSA due to their desires to expand further. But it was made pretty clear that the heavy discussions were all with the Sun Belt and that it is nearly a done deal.

I also heard the leader of The Dark Side will be on Camous. Can you confirm or deny this rumor? What effect will it have?

It's 5-2 Liberty in the bottom of the eighth, and with no outs, two runners on and WVU making their second pitching change. I think that baseball win can be arranged! :D

The Valley picking the private school over the public UIC is a bit of a surprise at first glance. But the Flames didn't make as much sense as replacement for the private school Creighton. The Horizon continues to lose members as well.

UIC has always been a joke. They hade a nice quickie with Sherell Ford but outside of that, they are on par with Chicago St.
As for the other announcement glad we aren't letting the cat out of the bag

The A-10 is close to adding Davidson to the league, likely in 2014-15, sources told CBSSports.com. The move is pending approval from the school's board of trustees.

The league has lost Butler and Xavier to the Big East, and is likely to see two more schools eventually bolt -- potentially Dayton and Saint Louis. The A-10 has already added George Mason, and commissioner Bernadatte McGlade had targeted Davidson -- which had previously spurned the CAA.

Found out today SBC visit has been postponed for this week. Instead, LU Executive VP's are working on a university report due to the SBC within 10 days. Depending upon the report and the SBC Presidents acceptance or non-acceptance we may see a visit sometime in May. Long drawn out process :(

We have been told by our 'betters' on this board not to confirm or deny the presence of any officials from any conference on our campus. Apparently it will derail our chance to be invited.
