If you commit adultery, are you going to Hell? If you covet, are you going to Hell? Sin is sin. Humans have tried to justify sin forever. We are all sinners and fall short of the glory of God. Why would a gay person who is a Christian be treated differently then an alcoholic who is a Christian? Or an adulterer who is a Christian?
If you commit adultery, are you going to Hell? ~ Only if I refuse to call it sin and do not repent.
If you covet, are you going to Hell? ~ Only if I refuse to call it sin and and reject forgiveness through Christ.
Why would a gay person who is a Christian be treated differently then an alcoholic who is a Christian? ~ He will not be.
But it would be so much easier if we could just override God and remove those sins from the list. Then I wouldn't have to deal with my
"pride" and humble myself before Him so often?
