We're still maintaining that he's mediocre, right?
Well it WAS against Kentucky. We will have to see how he does against real competition :D

So like FSU and Miami who can't beat low major basketball teams in nonconference or UVa who is 0-2 against the CAA? haha

Are you that ignorant or that dumb? A simple google search would have even lead BJ to the conclusion that UNC and Duke had nothing to do with this situation, but were merely the schools the recruit was attending.
USAtoday wrote:Ben Lincoln, a North Carolina-based financial adviser, has acknowledged paying for the plane tickets and hotel room for Muhammad's visits to Duke and North Carolina, Lincoln's attorney, Bill Trosch, told USA TODAY Sports this summer. Trosch did not immediately return a phone message Tuesday.

Lincoln's brother, Geoff Lincoln, is an assistant coachat Bishop Gorman, Muhammad's high school team in Las Vegas.
UNC quit recruiting shabazz muhammad long before he made his college choice. I know you are still butt sore someone finally outbid Calshady. I am beginning to wonder about the quality of students admitted to LC....

Are you too illiterate to read the article I linked from the LA Times that said that in fact the two schools in question are UNC and Duke? Or are you just too big of a flaming retard to be able to comprehend simple English? Which is it? I'll be generous and let you pick which level of IQ deficiency you would prefer, or will you even be able to do that since that would require being able to read while also being able to comprehend that someone just asked you a question?

Nevermind, I won't even give you a choice. I don't want to see you stumbling around while you try to figure out what to do since you are incapable of doing such logical thinking. I'll go with flaming retard. Congratulations, you are a flaming retard. :cheerleader

But you know what? He still took an unofficial visit to UNC that apparently was illegally financed and that was apparently improperly audited by UNC. It doesn't matter if UNC dropped out of his recruitment five seconds before he announced his decision or 5 months. A violation is a violation no matter when a recruitments stops.

But hey, let's just ignore the facts and toss out random, ignorant statements about others so you can continue to live in your own fantasy world. I hope you made God proud with your unchristian like behavior, I'm sure he is disgraced at you right now.

UNCA should be playing within 20 minutes on ESPNU against Tennessee in Puerto Rico. The first game was a really good overtime game between Akron and Oklahoma St.

Surprised this was only a seven-point game. Either UT isn't as good as I expected them to be right now or UNCA is much better. UT allowing UNCA to shoot over 50% is definitely a shocker.

I decided I am going to put everyone's IQ to the test tonight. Here is LC's article. Can someone tell me where it is stated UNC & Duke are to blame for Shabazz Muhammad's violation because UNC or Duke not properly auditing his unofficial visit.
LC's LATIMES ARTICLE wrote: UCLA has two options to consider in trying to help freshman basketball star Shabazz Muhammad gain his eligibility.

The school and NCAA enforcement agreed on the facts on the case, and therefore it was determined by the NCAA that he couldn’t play in UCLA's opener against Indiana State on Saturday night, according to a person with knowledge of the situation who spoke anonymously because the case is ongoing.

The options now are these:

1) UCLA, even though it has accepted the facts of the case, could disagree that a violation occurred and appeal. The case then would go to an NCAA appeals committee. If the committee sided with UCLA, Muhammad would probably become eligible immediately.

But if it ruled that a violation did occur, the appeal would be denied and Muhammad would have to go through a reinstatement process to regain his eligibility.

2) UCLA could accept that there was a violation and go immediately to reinstatement process.

Both the appeals and reinstatement processes would be expedited, the person said, because the season is now underway.

In a statement released Friday evening, less than two hours before the No. 13 Bruins were to open their season in a newly renovated Pauley Pavilion, the NCAA announced that Muhammad was ineligible "due to violations of NCAA amateurism rules."

"In addition to other pending issues," the NCAA noted, "Muhammad accepted travel and lodging during three unofficial visits to two NCAA member schools."

Those trips were to Duke and North Carolina.

LC. Now that everyone can read your article I hope you will at least now admit you made up your facts about UNC and Duke being the cause of the Muhammad's ineligibility. The kid was being financed by ADIDAS and one of his coach's brothers to attend UCLA.

Now, I want to know how you came to your conclusion UNC and Duke failed to properly audit his unofficial visit.

Are you stating that this financial advisor is to blame? Is he a runner for UNC and Duke? Boy that would be logical. I bet you are one of the few kids Liberty declined to offer admittance.

You shouldn't make things up Shuk, someone will eventually call you out. You will never learn. Don't be so butt-hurt about Calshady not having enough Cap space for Muhammad or the loss to Duke.

So do the two schools in question get punished in any matter and what two schools are they? Schools are supposed to audit how a player finances his unofficial visits and report if anything is potentially illegal...
That's exactly what I said, did any of you even read it, or did you just assume what you wanted to hear? If you guys will actually read this time around instead of making false assumptions, you will see that I never said UNC or Duke did anything to make Shabazz ineligible. I said all Duke or UNC allegedly failed to do was properly audit his unofficial visits. Failing to do that does not result in a player being ineligible. Taking the money is what caused Shabazz to be ineligible, he would have been ineligible rather Duke or UNC reported it or not. Of course, if UNC/Duke had properly audited like required by the NCAA, this whole Shabazz mess would have been resolved quicker.

Step your knowledge up fools instead of making up false lies and accusations.

Don't be butt hurt over that 42 point loss to Richmond, even a D3 team didn't lose that bad to Richmond! That's just pathetic!

And Liberty was beneath me. I wanted to and did go to a better school. I do must admit though that Liberty would have been a nice safety school with the scholarship money they said I could have gotten with my HS academic resume.

And as far as how I came to the conclusion about failing to properly audit - it's obvious. If UNC or Duke had gotten proper records from Shabazz and his family, there wouldn't be any question about how the visits were financed. They would have the records if they did their job! Now there is the possibility the Muhammad family gave false information, which is why I have continually said "alleged" when referencing to UNC or Duke's auditing. But let's not get facts and details in the way of your libelous agenda!

I love how somehow there's a correlation between effort against a D3 team versus a D1 team.

But then again, it's fun to see you all worked up so carry on.

Ha, this is fun for me too! Liberty folk are easy to get worked riled up, and the best part of it is that they all play along, making it even easier or more fun to do! I figured you Liberty folk would have figured that out by now considering Liberty is such an esteemed institution of higher learning! I even managed to fool everyone on here and become a moderator of one of the boards at one point, that was hilarious!

You used the word "alleged" twice. Both after you were called out for making up facts. But your memory is short as well. I still think you would have gotten into Kentucky. You might have even been an honor student. Once again, still hurting from Calshady not having cap space and butt-hurt over Duke. Oh and the best part is that a former Liberty player torched your team. Thank God you received that rejection letter.
