I'm so disappointed that they didn't buy one of the old Fruit of the Loom costumes for their mascot and nickname themselves the Grapes.

Cheapskate alert!
My family is in a bit of a $ crunch at the moment, but we are still planning on heading to the game on Saturday. If anyone has 3 tickets they won't be using and are willing to part with them for something less than face value, shoot me a pm.
Thanks!

You guys are awesome. I received several offers for tickets. Unfortunately, there have been some changes in our plans and we are going to have to settle on watching the game from home.

This place is pretty amazing.

Do you guys think attendance will be pretty good Saturday for a D2 game. I'M bring a new LU online student and her family to their first LU game. Hope so?

Concord game preview & prediction: http://luflamesnation.blogspot.com/2012 ... ction.html
The Flames hit the field this Saturday in their final non-conference match up of the regular season, against the Concord University Mountain Lions at 3:30 PM. Concord, of the West Virginia Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (NCAA Division II), will make the trip from Athens, West Virginia to Williams Stadium for the first time since 2005. The Mountain Lions come in to this week with a record of 4-3, as they take a break from their WVIAC schedule.

Good preview LUFN. This game comes at a good time for us (especially after back to back wins). This game should definitely have us on a roll going into Myrtle Beach next weekend

The closest comparables from October games the last three seasons:

2011, Oct 1 Kentucky Wesleyan - attendance 15,782 (night game)

2011, Oct 29 Presbyterian - attendance 11,673 (afternoon game)

2010, Oct 2 Savannah State - attendance 19,300 (night game)

2009, Oct 3 WV Wesleyan - attendance 14,167 (afternoon game)

2009, Oct 31 Presby - attendance 14,197 (afternoon game)

Make of it what you will, but to my knowledge there is nothing else going on that day that is likely to draw students away from the stadium, and the forecast is partly cloudy and low 60's at kickoff. 15,000+?
