I think the moderator is starting to turn on Biden a little bit.

This will not stop the Romney momentum from the last debate.

I do like the fact that Ryan is calling out Biden on some of his more crazy statements

I think he's up past his bed time. I say this debate was a tie. The only reason I would say Biden would have won is because he made no big verbal gaffe. However, his gyrations and condescending laugh hurt him.
Ryan not having specifics on the loop holes hurt. Good money says it will come up again, Mitt needs to have a few for the next debate

Ryan CRUSHES him on closing statements

Biden is a lot like Obama in this manner. It's all about him. 'What I did' was heard a lot. I'm sure he was like that before but I'm just noticing it.

Ok so NOW the closing argument. Ryan is doing a good job getting the name Romney out there. Bidens just rambled

I haven't paid much attention to 'fact checker' info but I have a feeling Joe Biden is going to get roasted by the fact checkers post debate

And a draw will mean a Biden win in the MSM. Still don't think it's enough to stop the momentum
Plus, Biden's smirk when Ryan thanked him was classless

The CNN commentators seem to think a draw, Gergen said Ryan slightly won.

Honestly I think they're right. Even though it is CNN.

Brit Hume: it was like a cranky old man talking to a respectful young man
Greta Van Sustern : I know Joe Biden. I like Joe Biden as a person. I didn't find him very likeable at all tonite.

Sorry I just don't like to watch Fox after a debate. I don't want to hear Karl Rove and all his neo-con friends. Sorry, I know I sound like another poster here

I know you don't and that's fine. Megan. Kelly. Hubba Hubba. Brit is strong. Chris Wallace is great.
Charles Krauthammer is awesome
Man, they are roasting Biden on his body language and condescending tone. Malarkey. Baloney. A bunch of stuff. I guess it's playing worse then I thought

If CNN says it was a draw, then Ryan must have won.

I thought Biden came across like an old, angry, 1960's politician that don't know when to shut up. The first step to governing is to listen to the other side, not shout them down and make funny faces at them while they're speaking. Biden demonstrated everything that's wrong in Washington. If we don't start sending people up there that know how to be respectful and compromise we are all in trouble?

Just my 2 cents worth?

CNN as a news operation is liberal, but the the political commentators, though still Democrat, are much more less partisan than Fox or MSDNC. The only time I watch CNN is after debates and actual elections though.

I can complain about Biden interrupting, but I'm also at the same time sick of Republicans trying to work with those whose economic fallacies are many. And yes, Republicans are just as guilty most times.

So, it really doesn't bother me.

I'm shocked all these polls show Ryan winning. cNN and CNBC? Wow. The analysis I agree with most is from Charles Krauthammer. 'If you read a transcript, it was a tie. They both had points to make and strongly made them. If you listened to it on the radio, Biden won because he seemed more assertive and aggressive. If you watched it on TV, Ryan won because Biden's body language was so rude and condescending it took away from his points and you focused on that, not his statements. And we live in a TV society'

To the younger members on this board, the presidental debate between Richard Nixon and John F. Kennedy, there was one thing that stood out among people against Nixon that turned people away and he lost their votes.

It was he had a 5 o clock shadow. It was reported that Nixon declined makeup for the debate.

Debates are both susbtance and style to viewers.

Biden lost big time.
