9/1 vs. Liberty[/quote]
Outlook: The Flames will be one of the better FBS teams next year, but the Demon Deacons are in the ACC. Purely based on measurables (size, speed, strength), Wake Forest completely outmatches Liberty. Wake Forest will have no trouble with Liberty at home, but expect the Demon Deacons to come prepared because Turner Gill remains one of the better coaches around.

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. -- Figuring out where Wake Forest's program stands these days is a matter of perspective.
The Demon Deacons took a step forward last year after doubling their win total and claiming their first bowl berth since 2008. But for the third straight year, they still managed to lose more than they won.
While last year's 6-7 finish sure looks better than the 3-9 debacle of 2009, it's not good enough for those within the program.[/quote

Wake Forest coach Jim Grobe isn't worried about junior quarterback Tanner Price getting a big head.
Not after his 3,000-yard season last year, not even after Price became the poster player on the Demon Deacons' billboards around Winston-Salem.
All Price has to do if he senses things getting too good is think back a couple of years to when he was a freshman starter.

To Wake Forest football fans still recovering from the wild ride of 2011, coach Jim Grobe has a piece of advice.
Keep those seat belts buckled.
"It puts a lot of gray hairs on your head," Grobe said. "It's tough. But I hope that's the way we continue.
"I think it's really going to be cool for our fans, and people who like college football. There aren't a lot of definites, but there is a lot of potential."

Wake is returning a lot of talent our secondary will be top 20 in football our lbs top 30 and Nikita manning the middle this D is going to be reminiscent of 06.
Liberty lost their stud QB who gave state fits last year to graduation and over half it's starters. A new coach, new starters, new system against a good Wake team returning everyone minus some OL, Givens, and Pendergrass. It is going to be Route city. It will not be close in the 3rd the only way it is is if Grobe calls off the dogs up 30-3 and their starters play well against our backups.

I am also and editor on the website Blogger So Dear (an article was posted from there on this thread earlier).
I'd like to apologize for some of the factual inconsistencies within that article but it is really difficult to find a lot of good information out there about Liberty, especially since Turner Gill has taken over.
I listened to the first part of the Turner Gill press conference this morning, and just want to make sure that the QB debate is between Hudson and Woodrum correct?
Also, if there are any questions about Winston-Salem or Wake Forest I would be glad to answer them to the best of my ability. I hope a lot of y'all make the trip down and it is a great day weather-wise for football in NC!
Best of luck this weekend as well!

It is Hudson and Woodrum (not Woodram) for the QB spot with Javan Shashaty as our third but dont expect to see much of him if anything
