Don't get me wrong, I really like the idea of this thing, but why only make it 60 yards long instead of the whole way? I realize they will do it someday, but it seems to me that we have been going at things 100% over the past few years. Why stop at 60% for this one (our only big upgrade this year)?

Say what you will about LU's bottomless pockets, but ribbon board ain't cheap. It's quite a bit more expensive than you may realize. This phasing idea is the same way BCS schools had to do it when r first hit the market.

60% is better than 100% and it's still better than any other FCS team has. Go ahead and get it up there now, and add to it as we're able. Anyone think the game check from NCSU was used for this? Maybe next year's Wake Forest game check will pay for some more?
