I think what he's saying is that when youre doing the right thing, you can tell the people who arent buying into the coach's philosophy for some reason or another (in MJD's case, feeling he should have his contract renegotiated)

Jennings missed all of the 2011 season with a knee injury suffered in the preseason that landed him on injured reserve. The Jaguars were still a dominant rushing team, but without Jennings Maurice Jones-Drew had to shoulder the load. Jennings showed the ability to be a more than capable back up and even potential starter in 2010 when Jones-Drew was forced to miss some time with an injury. The 6'1 230 pound running back averages 5.4 yards per carry in his career this far, albeit as a back up, but is in a prime position to break out in a contract year, especially if Jones-Drew's hold ou lasts into the regular season.
