According to ESPN the powers that be have agreed to a proposal for a 4 team NCAAF 'tourney'. I can't link it so look it up yourselves!

the problem is as much as the system currently is a travesty, i have no faith that they will even get this right.

Considering the committee members don't even have access to the details of 7 of the 8 computer formulas that are used for the rankings, of course they won't get it right.
