Saturday's announcement has been delayed until later this summer. The ultimate announcement is similar to Christ's return. We can prepare for it, speculate as to when it will happen, but really, we have no clue when it will be.

The tone of the whole thing has me thinking they have been a little overwhelmed with the process. I think the administration thought that there would be conferences knocking down our doors. For those of you who are more connected then the rest of is: does that thought have any merit?

When the announcement about the delay in the announcement is scheduled we Wil be having an announcement about making that announcement which, it should be noted is different from the original announcement.

As excited as I am about the findings in the feasibility study, I do not think that this is an announcement of a formal invite. This is only the release of the feasibility study results. It is very exciting though, isn't it?!

Unless Chris wants to throw us a bone and give us a little more info?

I don't believe there is a formal invite announcement coming. But I could be wrong. I've been a little out of the loop over there when it comes to this stuff because I've been spending so much time on Hillcats, LU baseball and this weekend, on golf.

I'll certainly post any concrete, confirmed news when I have it nailed down.
