I think it goes in front of a judge first and if Zimmerman has a good lawyer he or she should try to get it thrown out based on stand your ground. In this case Zimmerman could present flat on the ground defense.

Sad part, there may be enough idiots in America that get on the bench to convict him.

I don't know what other charges could or could not be leveled. 2nd degree murder is a real stretch, and should be thrown out almost laughably.

I think the special prosecutor punted on this, she bring the charges and if a judge thinks there is not evidence to proceed she can say, I did my job.

I've seen convictions on less evidence. as long as this charge is based on some evidence and not political pressure I don't have a problem throwing it into court. let a judge dismiss it or let Zimmerman plea to something minor.

For one, there's reasonable doubt.

Two, a race war is soon to happen if Zimmerman is acquitted. We did this to ourselves. Instead of being Anericans, we decided to divide everybody by gender, class, and race...

Any time they ask any sort of demographic information, there is always categorizations such as White/Hispanice, Non-Hispanic Caucasion, etc, etc. This is nothing new.
