Why is it so unbelievable? I've heard Dale using profanity being picked up on the radio for away games.

Is RD really that much of a demon in everyone's eyes, that if RD did it, there's no way anyone else did, because we've moved on from that?

I'm not overly offended by language, but if you are, you can't just ignore the language that some use, yet use it as ammo against another. Consistency is severely lacking in all these discussions.

Our coaches use foul language. It's unfortunate because of what the school represents, but it happens. If you want to get upset about it, do so, but don't single out the one guy you want to use it against.

TTL raises a very fair point. many of our coaches have used some very shall we say "salty" words in the middle of a game. I can think of four who I have never heard a foul word come from: Coach Green, Coach Tolsma, Coach Wetmore and Coach Pinder.

What we need is some who can identify the Gabe Martin's, Ryan Mantlo's, Harry Williams, Bj Jenkins, Leo Lightbourne's, Dwight Brewington's, Larry Blair's, Alex McLean's and Anthony Smith's get them here based on Dr. Falwell's vision and work to impact their life with Spiritual/success life values in order to redirect their life journey. For any of us engaged in the culture of today's youth it is not any easy task, but one that is so needed.

Ok lets no get to far ahead of ourselves. First off, you are giving RD a lot of credit for bringing in some of these guys who were really recruited by the assistant coachs at the time. Also some of that talent you mention didnt have as much impact as I remember. Leo had 1 good year his senior year and Dwight Brewington while talented didnt elevate us to a higher level in my opinion and Harry Williams basically sat the bench his whole career specially his last two years.
