That was easy.

I'm moving down to Tampa for a job that starts on the 31st. I'm basically looking to rent anything within a 15 minute radius of the Tampa airport that's not Ybor City trash. What areas would you recommend looking?

look up Camden Apartments. They have several apartment complexes along Westshore and another on Hillsbrouough Ave near the airport. I work with several people that stay at several of the complexes owned by Camden and they seem to like them. There is a wide range of rental prices and the area of town is nice enough.

I did an internship for USL about a year and a half ago. Since then, I worked at my mom's hair salon & did free database work for USL. About a week ago they opened up a new FT position and then offered it to me today.

Needless to say it didn't take long to decide where I want to go!

I've seen the prices in St. Pete. Holy cow! I don't want to make the trip across the bay everyday though. My parents are pressuring me for a 2 BR so they have a place to stay when they come down, but finding one for my budget ($700ish) in a decent neighborhood will be tough.

River Gardens is the favorite among the women (mom & gf)

Yeah your best bet may be the Rocky Point area. We stayed at Sailport Suites when we were checking out the area this past summer and we only paid 80 for a third story bay front. I was waiting to find a dead body under the bed, but it was nice for an extended stay type of place. They may have rentals as well but I'm not sire, but that on the southside of Rocky Point

There's an IKEA in Tampa. Not the best quality by any means, but it's cheap.

Good choice. Really nice area
