Winthrop is the only respected program in the league. The rest of the conference is an embarassment.

You've gotten beaten by 40 in almost every game you play on TV.

Winthrop has finished in the top 25 and is a household name going to the dance 9 times out of 12.

We'd love for another conference member to give us some competition.

WU will continue to dominate this league into the future. Nothing has changed, other than so far a one year blip with a turnover of roster. They will make a run this year at it and will most likely win it next year.

The funny thing is, even if Winthrop didn't continue the run, WU's past is better than anything LU will ever accomplish.

The simple fact is Winthrop owns you, will continue to own you, and you continue to run your mouth even though it's proven everytime on the court.

If you want to cry about me coming onto the board, don't run your mouths like you've ever accomplished something, and definitely don't run your mouth to a team that has won 7 of the last 8 and 13 of the last 17 against you.

You just sound like a moron.

Winthrop is and will continue to be head and shoulders over the rest of the league when talking in terms of overall long term program. They simply have the name brand no one else can compete with.

At your thanksgiving dinner, give thanks that you are in a conference with Winthrop. It must feel good to get to play royalty twice a year.

I will say this though, if we had as much success at Liberty as Gregg Marshall has, we would all be talking it up way more than he did. The only thing I really fault him for in his comments is thinking it was going to last forever and overstating Winthrop's relevance on the National scene. I think people knew and know Gregg Marshall but not necessarily Winthrop.

This Winthrop team is not the Winthrop team of the past. A very winnable game in Lynchburg tomorrow! I can't wait to drive back tomorrow!
