Let's hope that tonight can be a break through. We have had a number of wins in Lexington.

The Big South has some very passionate fans...

Did you know Eddie B has Never finished 2nd in the Regular Season, 1st only 4 times, (and he inherited one of those teams) he has won the tournament only twice in 16 years!!!!

Peele has won the tournament 2 out 4 years and there calling for his head!! that's crazy.

the only coach this year that should be on hot seat is Radebaugh, he hasn't had a winning season or top 4 finish in 6 years... and maybe (Scott Cherry) considering they fired Lundy and all he did was win a lot of games.

Each athletic adminstration has different standards...

example-- Clemson basketball is happy with 21 wins and NIT... UNC or Duke is not..

Depends on the vision and standards of the leadership...

Dude, I said before they committed to LU. Those are where they ended up on signing day. Once a player commits to a mid-major, the services all downgrade the ratings. I know a thing or two about how they operate.
Then explain why does Miles Plumlee (or Mason, can't remember which one it was) is still listed as three-stars on Rivals. He should have gotten at least a 4-star rating or going to dUKe!

And LU isn't a mid-major, everyone in the Big South is a low major...

low major is not a thing. Although I guess it quickly is becoming one simply because people who don't know any better use it.

am i the only one that thinks liberty is going to be worse next year?

just looking who is coming back with the recruits the 1-2-3 position is dramatically smaller and even worse athleticism. Not saying Donley or Taylor are bad players but reading the scouting report and the write ups both lack athleticism and have trouble defending. Add this with JCS and Chene :|

why can't layer go and get a legit 6'7-6'8 athletic SF/SG type player like a rell porter/ damian hubbard?

Great question.

and I think losing Minaya is going to hurt us a lot more than most people think. He's turned into one of our better players on either end of the floor.

Yikes. If we're looking for the next Damien Hubbard, we're more screwed than we think.

Keep :cheerleader the current process because we see where it is and with your :koolaid posts posturing as a diversion to the facts of how bad our status/talent/performance is...we can all rest better knowing how your insights enlighten the future.

I am actually really surprised he is still out of coaching at the D1 level. I don't think he was a bad coach and I figured he would catch on somewhere else.

Then again I am a poster on this board so I probably hate RD and blindly accept all the JB does, right?? haha

Nope. You are in esteemed company. ToC is the head of that class.

Speaking of which, did he seriously just label me a :koolaid drinker? That's funny right there that is. Anyone else agree with that assessment? :dontgetit

Okay than, Liberty is just low then, not even low major now. Congratulations, that's certainly is an improvement

It's not political. Layer has been here for two seasons after being handed a program that was in total shambles. That you're calling for his head in light of those facts makes it patently obvious that you're the one with a political agenda.

And frankly, it's a tired one. That you're even still here spewing your bitterness onto this board is pretty crazy. That's not hyperbole, either.

There's a lot more to running a program than what happens on the court. It amazes me that people still think it was just about winning basketball games. That's obviously goal number one, but you can't just gloss over everything else.

That's not directed at you, thepostman. I know you were just expressing an honest opinion. Totally understandable. There are others here, though, who ought to know better.

Oh I know, he had run his course here that is for sure, but he is a solid coach so I am surprised he hasn't caught on somewhere else. Of course there could be a reason for that, who knows, but it is surprising nonetheless.

To the contrary RD was the one handed a program in shambles and in two years had us in NCAA tournament. Please stop the fantasy game. JB wanted a press conference and we got a mess.
