Some possibilities from Gill's Kansas staff:

Aaron Stamn - Followed Gill from Buffalo to Kansas. Tight Ends & Special Teams Coordinator.

Vic Shealy - UR Alum. Was Defensive Coordinator at UR in 2009. Cornerback coach at Kansas. Also coached at UNLV as Defensive Coordinator prior to being at UR.

Robert Wimberly - we know him well here. He was Safeties coach at Kansas.

Buddy Wyatt - TCU Alum. Defensive Line coach at Kansas. Previous coaching stints at aTm, Oklahoma St, Colorado, Nebraska, TCU, Alabama

I edited my post. I think Torbush was diagnosed with cancer recently and is now out of coaching.

He might have been...for some reason I thought he coached DBs when he was here...We definitely had some good linebackers on the mountain (did Coach Manny play for Coach Rocco any?)

Yes BJ, Wimbo was a LB's coach when he was here. Also, Manny did play Rocco's first season @ LU.

Would expect Stamm who followed him from Buffalo. Possibly Vance Singletary, who was at UB and went to Mike Singletary's staff at the Forty-niners and came back when Torbush retired. Torbush was the DC at Kansas that retired this last summer after being diagnosed with prostate cancer. Beyond that I don't know.

Ask and you shall receive:
It won't take much for new Liberty coach (and former Kansas coach) Turner Gill to put together a staff. Gill said he will bring several former KU assistants to his new stop -- though he didn't say which ones.

"There will be some people from the staff there at the University of Kansas," Gill was quoted in KUSports.com. "So I want to take my time just a little bit more to get that all right, because that's going to be very, very important."

Coaches often take several of their former staff members to other schools with them. Also, you'd have to think Charlie Weis will bring in his own people.

Nothing special.

I personally love the magazines. and I use insider for recruiting info so I love it. With FCS stuff for football it is pretty bad though.

Torbush would make a great Defensive Coordinator .. he led top defenses in the ACC and SEC over multiple years. Brings the pressure .. we should celebrate a potential move byTorbush!

I think that was in the spring (I believe he left prior to his second year in Kansas) .. and it was a very treatable type of cancer .. let's wait and see

I know its not Liberty staff, but I saw our boy Rocco tonight at UofR. He was w/ Fontel Mines, I can only assume he's joining his staff.

I really haven't heard much on this front. But here's a name to keep an eye on ...
FootballScoop.com wrote:FAU: We have been told that Carl Pelini met with 4 candidates for offensive coordinator...David Beatty from Turner Gill's staff at Kansas, Gerry Gdowski of Ohio, Scott Isphording of Toledo and Brian Wright of Montana State.
